My name is Josh Damis. I’m an advertising and public relations major at the University of Oregon. I will be graduating in June 2009. I currently intern for one of the six major movie studios and am a media planner for a student run advertising firm at University of Oregon. My main interest in my studies is to learn about all the different ways to utilize the media to obtain an organization’s goal.
This is my blog for an advanced public relations writing class I’m taking at the University of Oregon. It’s mostly about public relations in the entertainment industry. I hope to one day work at a MarCom agency as either a media planner or PR practitioner.
